NYPALC scholarships
NYPALC COLLEGIATE SCHOLARSHIP
Supporting Future Leaders in Our Community
NYPALC is proud to offer its 2026 Collegiate Scholarship to support graduating high school seniors of Portuguese descent in their academic journey. Eligible students attending an accredited college in fall 2026 may apply for a chance to receive one of two $2,500 awards. The application includes an essay, transcript, and resume, and selected recipients will serve as Youth Council ambassadors.
Recipients will be honored at the NYPALC Gala on November 14! Save the Date!
Deadline to apply is July 14, 2026
NYPALC Portuguese School SCHOLARSHIP
The NYPALC Portuguese School Scholarship recognizes outstanding students from accredited Portuguese schools across New York. NYPALC awards a $250 scholarship to one deserving student from each school to assist with educational expenses.
Teachers are asked to nominate their top student, who is then presented to their school’s board for final selection. This process highlights both academic achievement and dedication to the Portuguese community.
